Prof. Karam holds a Ph.D. in Economics since 1974, speaks five major languages (three fluently), taught at eight colleges (and one High School) in four countries. Antonios published over the years numerous academic and general newspapers articles, a textbook on Economic Development, and a book on the challenges of modern technology.
Antonios has two major addictions: a long-lasting-one of world travels in dozens of countries, and a semi-retired addiction of ten-hour-a day readings on economic, political, historical, philosophical, religious, etc. matters and thought.
Antonios always felt that he is born to be a teacher, love his students, interacts with them in mutual respect, and endeavors to incubate in them critical and independent thinking.
Beyond the two addictions, Antonios enjoys swimming, walking on the beaches, and writing and singing poetry to
himself.
