Prof. Barber received her Associate in Arts from Indian River State College in 1997, her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology in 1999, and her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Sarasota in 2001.
She is presently a mental health counselor at a domestic violence shelter for women and children, and she is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Counseling Psychology at Argosy University. Prof. Barber has been a member of the Adjunct Faculty of Indian River State College since 2001.
