I have been teaching Political Science, International Relations, State and Local Government and Student Life Skills for over fifteen years at Florida State College at Jacksonville and recently joined the staff here at Indian River State College. Retired naval officer, spent many years in the enlisted rank where my many responsibilities included being a ship driver placing missiles and guns on targets of surface combatants (Surface Warfare), Engineering and Operations Officer. During my thirty two (32) year military career I have traveled throughout the world and visited over forty (40) countries. Through that experience I have seen the inner working of many countries, observed cultures, religious ceremonies and some of the most expensive and improvised areas in many. Academically, I attended Florida A&M University (1 year), completed my AA degree at Valencia Community College, continuing my studies completing my Undergraduate studies at Rollins College (BS in Business Administration/Economics), Graduate studies at Auburn University at Montgomery (Masters in International Relations), Air War College (Masters in Strategic Studies), Masters International School of Divinity (Doctorate in Pastoral Ministry (Theology). Favorite teams, Jaguars football, Sharks Arena Football, Orlando Magic basketball, World Champion Atlanta Braves baseball. Hobbies include fishing, golf for fun, getting proficient on the gun range.
