Donna M. Anderson earned a Ph.D. from Michigan State University, with fields in Labor Economics and Public Policy. While at Michigan State, she was the Policy Analysis Director for the Institute for Public Policy and Social Research. Prior to this, she worked for General Electric in Accounting and Finance in Schenectady, NY, and Erie, PA. She then taught for 24 years at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UW-L), where she engaged in research on the status of women in the U.S. economy and consulted on Environmental Economics issues with the UW-L Tourism Institute, Trout Unlimited, National Eagle Center, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Before coming to Florida, she worked as the Arizona Director for the Campus Election Engagement Project, a non-profit organization whose mission is to get college students registered and out to vote.
