This course is a basic introduction to the principles of macroeconomics. The primary focus of the course is to understand and apply economic concepts as they impact everyday activities. Topics to be covered include US Domestic Output and National Income, Economic Growth, Business Cycles, unemployment, inflation, Aggregate Expenditure model, Aggregate Demand and Aggregate supply, Fiscal Policy, Deficits, Money, Banking, Financial Institutions, Money creation, Interest rates and Monetary policy.
