Dr. Rodney J. Grisham assumed duties as a faculty member in the Department of Social Sciences at Indian River State College in August 1994.
Dr. Grisham was born in Burtonwood, Lancashire, England, and graduated from Holland Patent High School, Holland Patent, New York, in 1974. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 1979.
Following commissioning in the Air Force, Dr. Grisham was assigned a variety of jobs including Chief of Air Traffic Control Training and Deputy Chief Air Traffic Control Operations. He received a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado in 1991, and served as a faculty member at the United States Air Force Academy from 1986-1994. In addition to teaching, he held administrative positions of Division Chief of General Psychology and Director of Faculty Development and Curriculum in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership, and Director of Learning Skills Programs for the Air Force Academy.
Dr. Grisham retired from the Air Force in 1994 and is currently teaching a variety of college courses at Indian River State College.
